Ministry receives equipments in donation from Xinhua News Agency

| Asmara, 25 November 2008 - The Eritrean Ministry of Information today received different equipments in donation from the Chinese News Agency, Xinhua.
During the handing ceremony within the premises of the Ministry, Mr. Mohammed Omar Suba, director general of Press and News Agency, on the side of the Ministry of Information and Mr. Xiong Sihao, representative of the Chinese News Agency signed the handing document.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Asmelash Abraha, the director general of the Television Department in the Ministry, noted the long-standing cooperation between the Ministry of Information and Xinhua News Agency. He also stressed the significance of the donated equipments in facilitating the work of the Ministry.
The PRC Ambassador to Eritrea, Mr. Shun Zhan, underlined the significance of fostering cooperation in the era of information technology and stated that the assistance attests to the existing cooperation between Eritrea and China.
